Killed by Hirad in the makeshift fort at Understone. He had earlier
taken the fort from the post there but was attack after by the Raven.
Ilkar, who had contracted elfsorrow, killed himself purposefully in
a mana backfire to disrupt the Blackwings. Hirad chase Selik after
this and they ended up in a duel. During the battle Hirad first cut
off Selik's hand before cutting his head off in one clean strike.
Brief History
Leader of the Blackwings assault on Lyanna. Used the effects the
child was having on Balaia and college disputes to convince people
to join his army and overthrow magic. His main driving force though
was to find and kill Erienne. Hated her because she had disfigured
his face by hitting him with IceWind after her twin boys had been
killed by the Blackwings.
