Killed himself when the Raven were fighting the Blackwings at Understone.
They need something big to take out some of the Blackwings. Ilkar
had previously contracted the elfsorrow and knew he would die before
the thumb was returned. Decided to fly above the garrison at Understone
and then release his Shadowwings. Upon dropping he started a spell
and let the mana backfire to destroy himself as well as some of the
Blackwings.
